Surveyed this Halberg Rassey 41 for a French buyer looking to live aboard. Lovely boat; the only ‘surprise’ was that a previous boatyard had fitted CW617N ball valves which are not corrosion resistant. They were all hammer tested and didn’t break open/off, but will soon be replaced before they become brittle. Bronze, DZR brass or plastic seacocks (ball valves) are recommended, and the skin fitting should be the same material as the valve.Soon the boat will be away to France!
