Approved as a MCA Certifying Authority surveyor for commercial coding of vessels under 24m!

Small commercial vessels under 24 meters load line length operating under the UK flag and in UK waters must comply with the merchant shipping regulations, or a Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA) Code of Practice.  The International Institute of Marine Surveyors have given approval for me to conduct coding surveys on commercial motor boats being used for sport or pleasure, commercial sailing boats being used for sport or pleasure, simple workboats (cargo less than 1000kg) and RIBs.  I am also approved to conduct the simple heel test method of stability assessment.
